Campaigners from across Wales will unite in the country’s capital on 25 November to show their support for White Ribbon Day. The procession will start from Cathedral road and end with a candle-lit service in Llandaff Cathedral.
Candles will be lit and a service will be held for people to reflect and raise awareness of domestic abuse in Wales.
The national domestic abuse charity, CAADA insights, will also be presenting Cardiff Women’s Aid with an award on the day, to demonstrate the value of their work.
“Wales was noted as a leader in violence against women earlier this year when the UN Special Rapporteur for Violence Against Women, Rashida Manjoo, visited Cardiff” said Rachel Minto, Women’s Aid committee member.
