After two years of renovation, Andrew Carragon has re-opened the former pub, Langton’s in Newport, as a trading centre for small businesses.
Introducing a vintage and antique store was imperative to Andrew in order to improve Newport’s economy and build on the evolving regeneration of the city.
Those who want to set up shop are charged as little as £10 a week which varies depending on the space required.
Andrew Carragon said, “I made the decision to look at helping other people out who wanted to start a small business but may not be in a position financially to do so.”
The shop which also occupies its own cafe seems to be off to a great start, within just a month of opening its doors there is already a waiting list of traders eager to get a spot.
