With workdays getting to be more stressful, a lunchtime concert is a good way to break away from the everyday humdrum.
In a nod to the upcoming festive season, on 1 December choristers and choral scholars from St John’s College and the Cardiff Metropolitan Cathedral Choir will perform a Christmas concert in St David’s Hall from 1pm to 2pm.
If booked in advance, tickets cost between £4.75 and £5.75 though you’ll have to shell out an additional £1 for on-day bookings.
Steve Evans, an employee at St David’s Hall says they’ve been doing lunchtime concerts for many years: “There’s a coffee and tea stand and we offer sandwiches as well during the concert.”
