The Young Company will be reworking The Little Match Girl tale

The Young Company performance group will present an original rework of Hans Christian Anderson’s story, The Little Match Girl.
Young Company is a partnership between the Wales Millennium Centre and The Big Talent School. The group comprises of 7-16 year-olds who meet every Saturday during term time to learn West End standard stage skills.
Visitor service team leader Hannah Owen Griffiths said the group is all about, “building confidence, making friends and having fun along the way.”
The group’s interpretation of the tragic tale of The Little Match Girl will use puppetry and candlelight to recreate the touching story on stage.
The performance will take place on December 11 with a matinee show at 2.30pm and an evening show at 6pm. Tickets cost £6.
