Comedy Storage in the Loft at The Moon Club, next on 25 November
This autumn sees an impressive roster of stand-up comedians come to Cardiff.
Fans of stand-up comedy are spoilt for choice in Cardiff thanks to organiser Henry Widdicombe. Chapter alone boasts Tim Key, Ava Vidal, Bridget Christie and Pappy’s.
Tim Key’s Masterslut shows were sold out and Widdicombe expects similar audiences for Pappy’s Last Show Ever! describing it as “one of the best shows I’ve seen in years.”
Widdicombe recently created experimental club Comedy Storage in the Loft alongside fellow comic Jordan Brookes. A monthly treat in Cardiff’s calendar the next night on 25 November includes Ben Target and Daniel Simonsen, both best newcomer nominees at Edinburgh. Widdicombe says, “Jordan and I are passionate about the club… we’ve got plans on how to keep developing it.”
