What you’ll need

  • 240g coffee grounds
  • 240g brown sugar
  • 120g coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp essential oil (lavender, mint, almond) 
  • An empty jar and lid 

Method

  1. First, sterilise your empty jar and lid of choice.
  2. Next, in a small saucepan, melt the coconut oil until it turns to liquid.
  3. In a bowl, mix the melted coconut oil with the coffee grounds and brown sugar. Add the essential oil of your choice for fragrance.
  4. Store your zero waste coffee scrub in your air-tight jar and use as you see fit.
