A new yellow-fronted, Mexican-themed Milgi is hosting its monthly art and curry club on 10 December at 7pm
Cardiff’s well-known quirky café Milgi is hosting its monthly art and curry club on 10 December. In keeping with its Mexican-themed Christmas menu, this month’s activity involves making Mexican festive papel picado bunting.
The evening begins at 7pm with a bowl of veggie curry and rice. Participants are then given time to make the papel picado which is a Mexican folk art and made out of decorative paper cut into elaborate designs. A sum of £5 will cover all the food and art materials.
Hannah, one of the managers at Milgi, says: “We wanted to put on a fun art class which is relaxed and sociable. It fits in with our Mexican Christmas menu which we think makes our vegetarian restaurant more interesting and enduring”.
