Imagine a world where streets are covered in beautiful graffiti, where buildings are never out of use, and never fall into ruin. This is the dream world of Spaces, a new magazine from Cardiff aims to put the spotlight on the creative use of space in the city.
Readers might be surprised by how much beauty is on their doorstep. The focus of Spaces ranges from the rejuvenation of older buildings that have fallen into disrepair, such as Penarth Pavilion, to public art, like that found in Cardiff Fashion Quarter, and much more.
“It just feels right,” said Tim Holmes, a senior lecturer at Cardiff University.
Spaces launches on Tuesday 11 December at Cardiff School of Journalism and is available below via Issuu.
