Angharad Elias from Pontcanna has built a part time business from her passion for cooking.
With her dishes always in demand, full-time teacher Angharad decided to put her culinary skills to good use and open Pop-tŷ.
The once-a-month pop up restaurant is situated at St Catherine’s church hall in Canton and has grown in popularity since it came on the scene last November.
Angharad who doesn’t incorporate meat into her menu creates her dishes using seasonal vegetables.
“I’ll be experimenting with pumpkins and squash a lot this month, says Angharad who likes the idea of “bringing communities together over plates of deliciousness”.
The restaurant seats just twenty people and is “somewhere you can leave the reality of day to day life and enjoy beautiful surroundings, food and company” says Angharad.
