Award-winning comedienne brings critically acclaimed show to Wales
Funny woman Bridget Christie is bringing her award-winning show to the Chapter Arts Centre this month.
Fresh from a successful stint at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Housewife Surrealist will let audiences into Bridget’s mind as she discusses all things religion.
From recalling her Irish Catholic upbringing to her views on transubstantiation, the comedienne will perform her set on 15 December, complete with a recreation of the Ascension.
Bridget won the Funny Women Best Show Fringe Award 2007 and is a regular panellist on Radio 4’s News Quiz and the Broadcasting House Programme.
Henry Widdicombe, promoter of the event, says, “We approached Bridget to see if she would be interested in bringing her Edinburgh show to Chapter as part of a series of events showcasing what we felt were the best alternative comedy Edinburgh shows around.”
