Alt.Cardiff is a weekly magazine news website that takes a fresh look at life in Cardiff and its surrounding areas.

Alt.Cardiff wanders off the beaten path and scratches beneath the surface in a quest for information about different ways to play, work, listen, eat and engage.

Alt.Cardiff is produced by trainee journalists studying for their professionally accredited Magazine Journalism MA at Cardiff University.

The course is accredited by the PPA, the official UK industry network for professional magazine publishers.

The site is active from September to December each year and the team will be posting weekly stories, interviews, features and multimedia.
