Postgraduate students and faculty of Cardiff University’s international journalism programme took to Gregynog in the Welsh countryside in early November.
For two days they engaged in a focused retreat to propose dissertations. Inevitably, they rallied together as a group of more than fifty individuals from all over the world in a scenic place far from any city.
The full cast of characters stayed in a Victorian-style mansion planted amidst serene fields and forests. Though wifi and service was all but existent, they managed to shared their experience on social media throughout the process.
