Every Sunday morning, the market is becoming a colorful, vibrant and multicultural bargain in which people from every part of the world trade their goods, while families and elder people explore the little treasures like the fishing tools, old laptops and clothes.  Among the shops, there are also places that serve food and coffee, enriching the place with tastes and smells.

Jass Shing in the corner, selling shoes, Mobin is hidden amongst the technicolour blankets, Singh who stands in front of the hundreds of green and orange vests and work uniforms, Giorgis from the island of Corfu in Greece with fresh fruits and vegetables; they are all neighbours three times a week, giving life to Splott market and the Cardiff’s people. As they said, on Tuesdays, the market is less crowded but Sunday’s morning shopping is more entertaining and peppy.

” Everyone can find anything in here and it’s like a paradise for children’’. Youngsters with bikes and music playing on their mobile phones, pet dogs and students, all mixed up in the corridors amongst the improvised stands. At around 2:30 pm, the market begins to tip out and mothers carrying bags full of toys, balloons and teddy bears return back home but the salesmen know their regular clients personally and they are expecting them next week for the weekly Splott-shopping.
