Extinction Rebellion activists in Cardiff take to streets to demand climate action

The call for urgent climate action has never been louder before and for the members of Extinction Rebellion Cardiff chapter, it’s now or never!

The Cardiff chapter of Extinction Rebellion organized a cycling rally from April 23-25, 2019, demanding climate justice from the government. The rally was attended by people from all walks of life, including parents with their children, students, activists and elderly people.

The following video shows the cycling rally on April 25, 2019, which was attended by nearly 400 people, who demanded from the government to taking drastic measures to tackle climate change.

An exclusive podcast with the members of Extinction Rebellion (XR) was also recorded in order to spread the message of climate action. The participants in the podcast were Hugh Thomas, Tom Morris and Gwenni Jenkins Jones, who called upon the UK government for greater climate action and taking sufficient measures to prevent global temperatures from crossing the 1.5°C threshold.
