Wizz Air have announced its new base at Cardiff Airport

Cardiff Airport will become the fourth base of Wizz Air in UK after London Luton, Gatwick and Doncaster Sheffield.

Wizz Air have announced further UK expansion with new base at Cardiff Airport .

The new base will create over 40 direct jobs and over 250 indirect jobs.

The new base will support industries like aviation,hospitality and tourism in Cardiff.

The new base will connect Cardiff to destinations including Alicante, Faro, Larnaca and Tenerife as well as seasonal routes during summer to Corfu, Heraklioh and Palma de Mallorca and routes to Lanzarote and Sharm El Sheikh during winter by offering year-round low fares.

Wizz Air will allocate Airbus A321 to Cardiff and will launch nine new leisure routes.
