A MAN is decorating the streets of Cardiff today with chalk replicas of famous art works.
Painter and decorator Richard Llewellyn Price, from Nottinghamshire travels around in his campervan drawing and displaying his art in city centres.

The chalk drawings, which can be seen in Queen Street today, replicate three famous pieces of art. The first drawing strikingly reproduces 7th-century Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring. Leonardo da Vinci’s The Virgin of the Rocks inspired the second chalk drawing and the third alludes to Joseph Highmore’s The Head of a Young Boy.

Mr Price said: “I am a painter and decorator by trade but I earn my living this way now. “I came to Cardiff on a whim, but I keep moving around. I was in Swansea yesterday. I am here today and tomorrow, and then I will probably move on to Southampton next week in my campervan.”
