The event takes place at the Cardiff International Pool with swimmers from around Britain competing in the three-day event.
Cardiff Olympian Ieuan Lloyd, 22, will race in several events as he continues his preparation for the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

Teammates Xavier Mohammed and Otto Putland, who both competed at the Commonwealth Games, will be racing too.

“I’m mostly using this competition for race practise and fitness,” said Lloyd.
“If I perform well and swim good times that’s a bonus. It’s all about preparation for the Olympics.”
Cardiff coach Graham Wardell echoed Lloyd’s views.
“Our focus this year is on getting as many of our team to the Olympics as possible,” he said.
The Cardiff competition follows on from a successful weekend that saw 15 swimmers race at the Manchester International Meet.
“I’m pleased with the effort from my team. It’s encouraging signs so early in the season when they are in hard training,” said Graham Wardell.
The race of the weekend came from Lloyd in a thrilling 200 Individual Medley where he out-touched Xavier Mohammed by 0.01.
