TAFF housing held Halloween inspired events for local children during half term.
The events were held at Riverside, Grangetown and Canton’s community centres for young children and teenagers between the ages of 14 and 25.
Clare Parry, a Community Investment Officer at Taff Housing Association, said: “All the children love our sessions. Over 150 children took part in the range of free activities organised by the housing association throughout the week.
“We consult with children and young people before each half term to ask what they are interested in and try our best to provide a range of fun activities. Our aim is to keep them off the streets and get them involved in activities. We keep them busy so they are not hanging around street corners.
“Without these community venues, many children and teenagers wouldn’t have anywhere to go. They would be isolated without opportunities to interact with children from different backgrounds, cultures and abilities.”
Taff housing is a non-profit organisation that helps people in Cardiff with low incomes to find homes.
