GLAMORGAN Wanderers RFC made it 11 wins from 11 in the league this season as they eased passed Gilfach Goch 38-6 on Saturday.
They now sit seven points clear of second-placed St Joseph’s in Division One East Central and still have three matches in hand.
It has been six seasons since the Wanderers’ were last in the SWALEC Premiership and they have been up and down the leagues in recent seasons.
The Ely outfit are also still challenging in cup competitions, having made it through to the third round of the SWALEC plate.
With the Wanderers now halfway through their league campaign and still undefeated, club captain Haval Ibrahim can’t believe the success his side is having.
“We had goals of challenging for the league this year but never expected to be leading the pack undefeated,” he said.
“I couldn’t single out any players or coaches for praise because everyone at this club is working hard to get us back up to where we belong.”
The Wanderers now face Rumney this weekend looking to make it win number 12.
