SOUTH Wales police are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a car and 54-year-old pedestrian.
The 54-year-old man was taken to University Hospital of Wales last night and is said to be in a “serious but stable condition”, according to South Wales police.
The accident took place on Leckwith Road near the junction with Broad Street at around 5pm. The busy road, which many commuters use, was closed until just after 8pm and several bus services were rerouted.
Traffic was said to be moving as normal this morning.
South Wales police are investigating but have made no arrest.
