Cardiff Bus
Cardiff Bus suspended all services on its routes today, but hopes to resume services at 8am tomorrow.

The bus routes came to a halt at 6pm last night, which passengers claim left some Cardiff Bus drivers forced to walk home.
The bus company’s customer service team is available, but its information desk at Cardiff central library is closed today.
Darren Trebilcock, 44, of Tremorfa, caught one of the last No. 2 Cardiff Bus services to Cathays last night and said “the back of the bus still tried to spin us”.
A spokesperson for Cardiff Bus said: “We have suspended service for the remainder of the day due to the existing road conditions and the forecast conditions for the rest of today.
“Services tomorrow will be assessed in the morning but nothing will run before 8am.”
Road updates
South Wales Police are asking people not to drive in Cardiff unless necessary, because of the treacherous condition of the roads.
Many roads in Cardiff are closed due to snow and abandoned vehicles.
Vehicles, including lorries, have been abandoned along the M4 between junctions 26 and 32. Traffic Wales is moving them.
Traffic Wales is also currently gritting the M4 in both directions.
Cardiff Council has sent all snow ploughs and gritters available to help clear main roads, and keep them open.

Road incidents:
- A470, Coryton Roundabout – Cefn Coed Road, both directions. Anticipated to clear at 5pm.
- A465, between Dowlais top and Ebbw Vale, a slip incident occured.
Road closures:
- A48, Llanedeyrn to Heath westbound is closed.
- A465, closed between Dowlais top and Ebbw Vale.
- M48, closed in both directions from J1 Aust to J2 Newhouse

Cardiff Airport
Cardiff Airport is currently closed due to adverse weather conditions but asks that passengers check for live updates of its flights online.
This morning Cardiff Airport cancelled 25 flights, a number is set to increase through the day.

Flybe and KLM Royal Dutch airlines have cancelled all flights going to and from Cardiff Airport.
Flybe is offering refunds or new bookings to passengers with cancelled flights from the last two days.
A spokesperson at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, said: “Owing to a strong easterly wind, our runway capacity at Schiphol is currently restricted. In addition, wintry conditions in the United Kingdom have caused airports to halt or restrict operations.”
Arriva Trains Wales
Arriva Trains Wales has cancelled all rail services in South Wales until further notice.
Due to worsening weather conditions overnight, for safety reasons, services in the southern part of our network are cancelled for Friday. Some limited routes will operate.

Great Western Railway
Great Western Railway is currently running a limited service which includes a skeleton service between South Wales, North Cotswolds and London.
All Great Western Railway trains between Cardiff and Portsmouth have been cancelled today.

A spokesperson for Great Western Railway said: “With further deterioration of weather conditions through the day expected to further affect train services, we are strongly advising customers not to travel on many of our routes.”
