FOUR teenagers have been charged following a disturbance in Whitchurch Village involving young people allegedly carrying dangerous weapons.
Adam Awan, 18, from Penylan, Anthony O’Driscoll, 18, from Whitchurch and two 15-year-olds who cannot be named, have been charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
Police were called to the Warren Evans Court area near Whitchurch High School on Friday, January 19.
“We would like to thank Whitchurch High School and the local community for supporting our investigation,” said Inspector Ben Davies, from Fairwater Police Station.
The four are due to appear at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on April 17.
