CARDIFF City look to extend their unbeaten run to eight games as they host Burton Albion in the Championship on Good Friday.
The Bluebirds have nine games left to play and sit six points behind leaders Wolves with a game in hand.
Cardiff’s postponed game against Derby and the March internationals have provided an unwanted break for Neil Warnock’s side as they look to consolidate their place in the automatic promotion places.
Burton, on the other hand, will be grateful for the international break as they are without a win in five.
The last time the sides faced each other was back in August where Warnock’s side suffered their first defeat of the season.
Goals from Tom Naylor and Ben Fox gifted The Brewers a 2-0 lead. A late goal from Anthony Pilkington wasn’t enough for Cardiff as they lost 2-1.
Warnock’s side are much better placed than they were then and the return to fitness of Aron Gunnarsson and Jamie Ward will fill him with confidence.
The game kicks off at 3pm on Friday at the Cardiff City Stadium.
