CARDIFF DEVILS face Milton Keynes Lightning twice this weekend – home and away – and are looking to bounce back after a 4-3 defeat away to Guildford Flames.
Sitting top of the table, the Devils need to capitalise on the weekend’s games against Milton Keynes – as they face a stern test against second place Belfast Giants next week.
But with a game in hand going into this weekend’s fixtures, Andrew Lord’s men will be looking for back to back wins against bottom of the league Milton Keynes – who have suffered a terrible campaign so far.
Milton Keynes will have some optimism going into this weekend however, as they finally ended a 10-match losing run with a 4-3 win against Dundee Stars recently.
The Devils will be relishing this opportunity with a full line-up available for Andrew Lord to choose from.
But with a top-of-the-table clash with Belfast on the horizon – Lord will be looking for an impressive outing against Milton Keynes – building momentum into next weekend.
A sell-out crowd is expected this Saturday with face-off at 7pm.
