Man walking around the UK for charity arrives in Barry

Chris Howard has raised over £20,000 for Children in Need and has walked over 3,000 miles

A MAN walking the entire mainland UK coastline for Children in Need arrived in Barry on Saturday and is now working his way along the west coast of Wales.

He still has a long way to go – the entire trek, which he’s documenting at thecoastwalker.com, will reach almost 11,000 miles.

His journey began in Norfolk where he set off on 26 July 2020 and he expects the trip will take him around a year to complete.

Chris aims to reach £40,000 to mark the 40th anniversary of Children in Need.
