The Made by Hand craft event is due in Cardiff’s City Hall this weekend, providing small creative businesses across Wales a chance to showcase and sell their work to the public.

The event, in which visitors can buy various hand crafted pieces from 135 of the finest, specially selected designer makers, has received funding from the Welsh Government’s Major Events Unit for the next three years.

Made by Hand event director, Sarah James, says, “Made by Hand provides a vital marketplace for contemporary craft in Wales and helps strengthen the profile of Wales as a destination for quality
craft.”

There will be a variety of stalls and activities across the three day event, selling various contemporary crafts from collector’s pieces to more functional pieces.
