A graffiti art workshop is being held in Rumney Chapel on 13 December as part of a fundraising campaign to save Rumney Library from closure, led by the Community Action for Rumney Library group.
The C.A.R.L. campaign comes in the wake of heavy budget cuts to public services, which have been proposed by Cardiff Council, threatening local libraries. Becky Cee, campaign organiser, says, “Rumney Library is about more than just books. It is a focal point within our community for a diverse range of people and for different purposes.”
The two-hour workshop, which will be led by graffiti artist Hoxe0ne, will allow you to create your own graffiti art canvas that you can take home with you. Tickets are £5, with all proceeds going towards the cause.
