Co-owner Paul Rowberry-Iles mans the bar at recently opened Face 11
One of Cardiff’s newest bars is building a cult following with its fresh approach to food.
Face 11 on Cathays Terrace is proving to be a popular destination for students and locals alike, offering an alternative to the countless pubs and takeaways in the area.
“Everything we do is fresh food that we make ourselves”, explains co-owner Paul Rowberry-Iles.
Having opened two months ago, the quirky restaurant-bar offers patrons a mixture of signature beers and ciders, an extensive cocktail menu and of course a menu full of freshly prepared food.
“The pizzas are all fresh, we make the dough ourselves, we make the sauce ourselves, fresh to order”, says Paul, “so we’ve got a bit of a cult following with loads of people around here.”
