Cardiff City FC fans rejoiced last Friday night after a dramatic 2-1 win over Wolverhampton, but their hopes of a winning streak were quickly dashed by a 3-1 defeat against West Ham four nights later.

The football club pride themselves on having die-hard, enthusiastic fans, but is fan morale starting to decline as they’ve yet to win a game away from home?
Longtime Cardiff City fan Will Roberts said: “To go from 0-0 at halftime to losing 3-0 in about fifteen minutes is just not acceptable. I’m starting to wonder if the team’s got it in them to secure an away win, I hate to say…”

Cardiff will play Southampton, who are currently 18th in the league, at home tomorrow afternoon.
Some fans worry that this may be a harder game than first expected, as this will be the first game for new manager, Ralph Hasenhüttl – a man who has previous experience in rescuing teams in peril from his time at Ingolstadt FC.

Former Wales player, Iwan Roberts, is hopeful about the club’s future, however: “They have this never-say-die attitude… I don’t think any team in that bottom half has the spirit and togetherness that Cardiff has, and that can take you a long way.”
Cardiff City’s manager, Neil Warnock, travelled to France this week to scout players for the January transfer window, with fans hoping to gain a new striker in the form of Emiliano Sala (Nantes).

Warnock has also expressed interest in targeting a defensive midfielder and full-back, looking to secure loan deals rather than buying players.
Cardiff City fans will certainly be looking for a win at home tomorrow afternoon, hoping to stay above the dreaded drop zone for another week.
