Studies fined more than 38% of Brits are spending on average 50+ hours alone a month

Why are Brits spending more time alone? According to a new report an estimated 19 million Brits are spending the majority of their time alone . Cities such as London found that 48% almost half of the population spend up to 51+ hours alone every month.

Loneliness has become a big topic within the UK and has even been described as an epidemic. Research collected by the ONS showed how 49.6% (26 million) of adults within the UK have reported of feeling lonely. 

Further data showed that grouped ages 40-59-years-olds 41% said to spending 50+ hours alone a month while ages between 25-39 reported 34% spent 50+ hours alone each month.

What I have observed during my time in the UK, people want to constrain themselves in a bubble, in their own world. Long conversations are very rare these days due to technologies.
