Glamorgan get their pre-season campaign underway tomorrow as they travel to the County Ground in Bristol to take on Gloucestershire in a 50 over clash.
The Welsh outfit have been training indoors since mid-February and will be keen to get out in the middle and into competitive action when play starts at 10.30am.
Glamorgan will welcome Gloucestershire back to the SWALEC stadium for a two-day game on Thursday and Friday, March 20 and 21.
Play will start at 11am with a minimum of 96 overs to be bowled each day and entry is free. Following the close of play on Thursday, a Glamorgan’s fans forum will be hosted at the SWALEC and broadcast live on BBC Radio Wales.
Supporters will get the chance to ask questions to chief executive Hugh Morris, coach Toby Radford, bowling coach Robert Croft as well as captains Mark Wallace and Jim Allenby.
The same quartet will also be present at the London Welsh sports forum at the London Welsh Centre on Tuesday March 25 Glamorgan’s first County Championship fixture sees them face Kevin Pietersen’s Surrey April 6-9 at the Kia Oval.
Wallace’s men finished second bottom of division two last season and will be hoping a good pre-season campaign can pave the way for a much stronger season.
