Rail workers have been picketing outside Cardiff Central station, as they strike for three days across the UK.
Today is the last day of planned industrial action, with strikes also having taken place on Tuesday 21 and Thursday 23 June.
Outside Cardiff Central, rail workers have been joined on the picket line by members of the public who spoke to strikers and took leaflets, RMT Regional Organiser Steve Skelly, 45, who visited several pickets in Cardiff and Bristol, and Sepharoth, one striker’s pet pug.
The industrial dispute is between RMT, the trade union for railway workers, and Network Rail and other operators and it is mainly about pay and working conditions.
The strikes have been strongly criticised by the government for the disruption that they have caused to the country.
