Brave souls walked barefoot over burning embers to raise money for Ty Hafan children’s hospice

The charity event brought in more than £21,000, almost doubling last year’s total

BRAVE participants took part in a daring challenge: a firewalk, calmly strolling across five metres of burning embers reaching temperatures of up to 1200 degrees Fahrenheit.

The event, held at the Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday, March 9, was sponsored by AltraLaw, in support of Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice.

The registered charity provides care and support for children with life-limiting illnesses and their families throughout Wales.

A total of 63 participants took part, cheered on by friends and family who watched nervously from the sidelines.
