‘Write for Rights’ asks people to send Christmas Cards to political prisoners, all of them will receive from different countries messages of hope and support. The idea is to show them that nobody forgot their story and is still fighting in different ways to give them back their freedom and rights.

Around the world over three million people took action, so I think we can say that ‘Write for Rights` is the biggest campaign human rights event in the world” explained Karen Middleton last year after the ‘Write for Rights’ 2014. This year is asked to more people to be involved and maybe it will be reached even a bigger number of participants.

There are different cases from Mexico to Bruma, it is there for example that Phyoe Phyoe Aung (General Secretary of Bruma Federation Student Union) was arrested for criminal offenses. She was protesting against the National Education Law “We want autonomous universities; we want freedom of education” said in November 2014. After that was accused of student activism, illegal in Bruma.
