Many university students suffer from lack of sleep, experts and studies say.
According to March 2019 study conducted by the University of York, university students in the UK are at a higher risk of mental health issues due to sleep deprivation. Students have lower quality and less sleep than the average UK population. Why are students so much more likely to be sleep deprived?
Some people don’t know that they are sleep deprived. Some physical as well as mental symptoms are big indicators that you might be impacted by lack of sleep.
If you are certain that you are affected by lack of good sleep, you can change that. For example, you can improve your sleep by having a regular routine before going to bed, also known as sleep hygiene.
