The Adamsdown club travelled on tour to Ambazac in France after three years of no international travel
ADAMSDOWN-BASED club Clwb Cymric went on their first European tour since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The club, that play in the South Wales Alliance Division 1, travelled to Ambazac in France to take part in a six-a-side tournament organised by AS Ambazac.
The Cardiffian travelled to Ambazac with Cymric, who entered two sides into the tournament which took place last weekend (June 25).
Coaches Owain Morris and Steffan Davies took charge of the sides, who progressed through the group stages but lost on penalties and 5-0 in the round of 16.
Despite not being able to win the tournament, both Mr Morris and Mr Davies were happy to be able to travel to Europe to play again and look forward to more trips in the future.
