‘She could’ve been reading the back of a cereal packet, and I would still be there,’ said fans attending the megastar’s tour date
TAYLOR Swift performed the only Welsh date in her global Eras Tour to a sell-out Principality Stadium of around 67,000 fans.
The American pop star and billionaire performed 45 songs to fans travelling from all over the world, creating huge crowds and queues in Cardiff’s city centre.
Some Taylor Swift fans, or Swifties, said that their experience of getting tickets for this concert was “stressful”, with many applying to see the star in other UK cities beforehand.
Fans were seen queuing to buy official tour merchandise days before the concert on Tuesday, June 18, creating queues along Wood Street Bridge that lasted for hours.
Swift continues her Eras Tour with performances in London, alongside supporting band Paramore, before finishing the tour in Vancouver this December, 22 months after beginning her global concerts.
